Set Up

The main set up will be a manager, 2 cashiers, 2 people to walk around and help people decide on things, and 1 person in charge of everything that goes on. We will have items you may purchase on shelves, then bring them to the cashier(s), choose a locations you would like to send it too. The cashiers will then tell you your total cost on how much it will cost to ship out. You may also bring your own items from home, you don't just have to buy the items listed on the shelves. There will be many things on the shelves such as, bottled water, canned foods, blankets, tents, liquids, soaps, shampoos, clothes, etc... We plan to make this successful because the prices will be low, it will be a welcoming place, and you will feel like your putting your money in the right place. We expect to lure people in by the adds we will be posting up on billboards worldwide. This isn't going to be easy though, Its going to take time and dedication, also some very loyal members. Everyone will have to be there 7Am until 8PM.This is because we would like them to be home for their families.

Marketing

We have decided on choosing wal-mart to be our main supplier. We have made this decision because, they have very low prices, they have the service we need, and we think they can greatly help us accomplish what we need to achieve. We will be marketing off canned foods, clothing, liquids, etc... We will be providing high quality service, to make not only us happy but the people happy. We plan to continue this for many many years. One weakness were having though is, although we want to, we wont be able to help everyone in the world. It will take time and effort to really make a change to this world.

What is Social Entrepreneurship?

They are people that identify and solve problems on a large scale. Social Entrepreneurship was first introduced in the 1960's to 1970's. Everyone involved in this solves social problems, and organizes to manage ventures. Skoll Foundation and Social Edge are examples of entrepreneurs. The Skoll Foundation works out issues involving health, economic & social equity, Environmental sustainability, and peace & security. They are succeeding very efficiently with almost all of their problems trying to be solved. The Social Edge has a main discussion form on what they are trying to succeed in solving. They seem to be successful in solving all their problems.

Social Impact

From our prospective, after we set up hotels, we get enough food, clothing, liquids, that we can give people, we think the follow things would happen. They will have a better place to stay. They will be not only happier, but much more healthier. They can see friends, family, and loved ones. They will be able to start getting jobs, since they have a place to live. Everyone involved in this will start to be relieved from all of their stress, and will have time to do things, instead of trying to find a place to stay.
